Confluence Project

A Place Where Dreams Come True

The Confluence Project is a collaborative effort to continue the successful redevelopment of downtown Eau Claire at the confluence of the Eau Claire and Chippewa Rivers. The centerpiece of the project is the Confluence Arts Center, a state-of-the-art facility to showcase Eau Claire’s vibrant arts community.

The Arts Center represents a true public-private collaboration with funding through state, city and county investments, partnered with philanthropy and new market tax credits. The City of Eau Claire and Eau Claire County both have pledged resources.

In August, the University of Wisconsin System Board of Regents unanimously passed a resolution directing UW System President Ray Cross to work with the State of Wisconsin’s Department of Administration to implement the project.

"Based on my decades of experience in business, real estate and community leadership, I understand the power of the public-private partnerships. They create jobs and stimulate the creation and expansion of other businesses. They directly and indirectly improve a region’s quality of life.

"

--Regina Millner, Vice President of the Board of Regents

Philanthropic support is critical to reach the Confluence Campaign’s $13 million fundraising goal and to match the $25 million non-state grant. There are several ways to support the Confluence Project, including individual pledges, bundled gifts and various naming opportunities.

Please join the community in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to create a place that will contribute to the cultural renaissance of downtown Eau Claire.
